Please note details are subject to modification closer to the date of works, the latest information is normally available on the South West Trains website.

Saturday 1st December 2007 & Sunday 2nd December 2007

• Basingstoke area
  Services between London and Weymouth will run via Havant
  Services between the north and Bournemouth will run alternately via Havant or terminate at Reading
  Services between Basingstoke and London will not operate between Basingstoke and Farnborough, use alternative services. West of England line services will not operate beyond Andover towards London.
  All other services will have a rail replacement bus service for some point of the journey

Midweek (3rd - 7th December 2007)

• Overnight
  0105 London to Southampton Central - (FX) bus between Woking & Farnborough and Woking & Southampton

Sunday 9th December 2007

• Basingstoke area (further details)
  Services between London and Weymouth will run via Havant
  Services between the north and Bournemouth will run alternately via Havant or terminate at Reading

There is no planned engineering work or affected overnight train services between 10th December and 22nd December 2007 inclusive.

Sunday 23rd December 2007

Monday 24th December 2007

• A Saturday train service will operate with some additional extras during the peak.
• The last through services from London to Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth will be:
  To Weymouth - 1935 London to Weymouth
  To Poole - 2005 London to Poole
  To Bournemouth - 2035 London to Bournemouth
  To Southampton - 2039 London to Southampton Central

Christmas Day and Boxing Day 2007

• No train service will operate - Heathrow Express and Gatwick Express train services will be replaced by buses, and Southern will operate a limited service on 26th December

Thursday 27th through to Saturday 29th December 2007

• Saturday service will operate with some additional peak time extras.
• On Thursday, services on the Isle of Wight will start up 1 hour later.

Sunday 30th December 2007

• Wimbledon area (further details)
  Services between London and Poole, including Weymouth trains, will be diverted via Staines with no additional stops. Journey times will be extended by up to 1 hour.
  No444 advise taking the CrossCountry service to Reading, and changing for a service to Paddington

Monday 31st December 2007

• A Saturday train service will operate
• There will be additional late night services between London and Guildford via Woking, and to Kingston via Wimbledon and Richmond due to New Year celebrations in London. The 0105 London to Southampton Central will operate.
• Passengers wishing to watch the celebrations should note that the first train for stations between Southampton Central and Bournemouth will be the 0754 from London, and beyond Bournemouth will be the 0835 from London Waterloo.
