This page contains a list of engineering works for each month, as well as alterations to overnight train services. Altered timetables as a result of engineering works is available by clicking on further details and will be made available as the data feed is made available to us.
Major engineering work approaching
- Easter weekend (21 - 24th March 2008)
Major engineering works will be taking place at Clapham Junction on the main lines.
Train services between Weymouth and London will divert via Staines and additionally call Clapham Jnc
West of England line services will divert via Staines and will call additionally at Clapham Junction
Portsmouth line passengers should travel via alternative services where possible (Southern will be a good bet to try!)
Stopping services between Basingstoke and London may divert via Staines (yet to be confirmed)
- May Day Bank Holiday weekend (3rd - 5th May 2008)
Major engineering works will be taking place at Basingstoke
Train services between Weymouth and London will divert via Havant and call at Fareham, Havant and Guildford in place of Southampton Airport and Winchester
WoE line trains will not run between Andover and London, use alternative services where possible
Portsmouth line timetable will be altered in order to allow the fast Weymouth service to operate
Stopping services between Basingstoke and London will not operate between Basingstoke and Woking
